I know, nowadays people don’t trust charity companies. They have become nothing but a business. This is really sad ? We are all struggling to find an honest charity organization that will fulfill their promise and help the poor as they said they would. This was my concern as well when I started CharityP2P. I saw the photos of suffering, starving African children on facebook and couldn’t hold my tears. A powerful feeling was born in my heart that I must do something for them.
BUT HOW?
The first thing that came to my mind was calling large charity organizations and donate to them.. but every one of them said that they will take 10-15% of my donation to cover the running cost. I was really disappointed with that answer. Even though it’s not bad, cause it helps them to run the charity. But I felt like I want every penny of my money to reach the needy.
Then I started calling my friends. The people I trust with my life. And found out who will be going back home to Africa in the nearest future, so we could feed some people together.
That’s how it began….
My friends traveled home to visit their families and helped me to feed the poor in the community and #build water wells. I haven’t taken a penny for my effort, and they were pure #volunteers.
At the end of the day, your friends are the ones who will be there for u! Even if u plan to accomplish a huge project that looks impossible, The Most Merciful will send on your way sincere people, who will help you!

We have no salaries and no bills to pay. All extra expenses are covered from our pocket or lillah money. Our name is People to People – means donations come from people and go to people! Nothing stays in between! Our helpers are pure volunteers who are doing it solely for the pleasure of Allah (SWT)! May The Almighty reward everyone for their sacrifices! Amen.
